HOW MUCH TO HIRE A BOUNCY CASTLE?

Bouncy castles rented by themselves start at £80 +. Bouncy castles rented within a package are more, prices can be seen on the bouncy castle and bouncy castle package category [CLICK ME TO SEE PRICES]

 

DO ALL BOUNCY CASTLES HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Yes and this is available to customers upon request.

 

HOW MUCH ARE DEPOSITS?

All deposits are refundable and are £30. Deposits are not returned if equipment is damaged, excessively dirty, or the balls (when hiring ball pits) are not put back into the ball bag.

 

WHAT TIME ARE YOUR DELIVERIES AND COLLECTIONS?

We deliver and collect between 8am and 7pm.

All bookings held outside during the winter months (which we consider between November and March) are collected at 4pm. If indoors we collect at 7pm and any collections after this will be an additional charge of £20 per hour. During the summer months all bookings held outside or inside (which we consider between April and October)  are collected at 7pm any collections after this time will be charged £20 per hour.

 

ARE ALL CHILDSPLAY HIRE BOUNCY CASTLES MADE BY THE BS EN (BRITISH ADOPTION OF A EUROPEAN (EN) STANDARD) 14590?

Yes, all inflatables have been made according to the BS EN 14960:2013 standard and have a Safe Inflatables Scheme test certificate tag number available upon request. (www.safeinflatables.co.uk).

 

ARE THERE HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS WHEN USING CHILDSPLAY HIRE BOUNCY CASTLES?

There are height restrictions for all bouncy castles which we recommend all customers adhere too. Check the height restrictions below:

22ft x 21ft x 12.2 ft 1m = (average height for 3 – 3.5years) > 6 users

1.2m = (average height for 6 years) > 5 users

1.5m = (average height for 11 years) > 4 users

 

15ft x 16ft bouncy castle  1m = (average height for 3 – 3.5 years) > 8 users

1.2m =  (average height for 6 years) > 6 users

1.5m =  (average height for 11 years) > 5 users

12ft x 18ft bouncy castle 1m =  (average height for 3 – 3.5 years) > 8 users

1.2m =  (average height for 6 years) > 6 users

1.5m =  (average height for 11 years) > 5 users

 

17 x 15ft bouncy castle 1m = (average height for 3 -3.5 years) > 10 users

1.2m =  (average height for 6 years) > 8 users

ARE CHILDSPLAY HIRE A MEMBER OF ANY INFLATABLE ASSOCIATIONS?

CAN BOUNCY CASTLEs BE PLACED ON GRAVEL FLOOR?

We do not allow any bouncy castles on gravel floor, as there is a high risk of the bouncy castle possibly being punctured by gravel stone.

 

CAN BOUNCY CASTLE FIT IN MY BACK GARDEN?

This all depends on your garden size, and the bouncy castle you hire. We would need to ensure there is 3ft space at the back and front and 3ft either side. If you have any concerns regarding space feel free to contact us.

 

How do I book?

All bookings must be placed online via the
book now button. We cannot take bookings
over the phone. You’ll then receive a an
email stating we have received your
booking. Once your booking is noted in our
calendar you’ll then receive a confirmation
email alongside our bank details for the
payment of the damage deposit which will
secure the booking. Once the damage
deposit is paid your booking wil be
confirmed.

Please note the email confirmation may be
sent within 48hours after you have received
your booking received email.

All deposits must be paid within 12 hours
after you have received the confirmation
email. If the damage deposit isn’t made

during that time your booking will be
automatically cancelled.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS OVER
THE PHONE, VIA INSTAGRAM, TEXT
MESSAGE OR WHATSAPP.

Please note all phone calls, messages sent
via email, text or WhatsApp are only for
enquiries and do not confirm bookings.
Booking online and makiny payment of the
damage deposit secures your bookings.

Can I check for item availability?

Yes by going to the book now button it will
take you to the booking form where you can
see if the item you want is available

Can I check if I’ll be charged for delivery?

Yes by going to the book now button it’ll
take you to the booking form where you can
enter your full postcode in which will
generate a delivery fee if your outside our 5
Mile radius.

What time are your phone lines open?

Our phone lines are open between 10am
and 5pm on Monday to Friday only. Please note our WhatsApp,
emails and text message is 24/7, however
we may take 48 hours for a response

Please check your emails for invoices and
confirmation emails.

 

DOES CHILDSPLAY HIRE SET UP THE BOUNCY CASTLE?

Yes – we do not require customers to set up or put down the bouncy castle, we are here to do all of that for you.

 

HOW DO I PAY?

Customers must pay a refundable deposit to secure the booking via online  or bank transfer. All outstanding balances must be paid the day before your hire via by bank transfer. The refundable deposit is held in case of damage, excessive dirt on any of the equipment hire, and balls not being put back in the bags. If the there are no issues during your hire, you will receive your deposit back within 5 to 10 days after booking.

 

HOW LONG CAN I HIRE THE EQUIPMENT FOR?

Drivers begin the day at 8am. We aim to do all deliveries between 8am and 1pm. If your party begins later than this (especially if you are in a venue) please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate. Our collections begin at 4pm and end at 7pm, (if you need the items collected earlier we will try our best to accommodate this). If you would like a later collection there will be a late collection after 7pm you will be charged £20 charged per hour.

 

DO YOU OFFER OVERNIGHT STAYS?

Yes we do allow overnight stays at an additional cost.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON MY DAY OF HIRE?

If hiring a bouncy castle outside and it rains on your day of hire, you can choose to cancel or reschedule your hire date. if you do decide to cancel you will lose your refundable deposit as all cancellations need to be reported to us 7 days prior to your booking. If there is torrential rain, winds higher than 24mph we will have no choice but to cancel your booking, as renting bouncy castles in high winds of 24mph is illegal, we will then refund you refundable deposit.

 

WHICH AREAS DOES CHILDSPLAY HIRE DELIVER TO?

South London , East London, North London and West London and the surrounding areas of London. Additional charges may be applied if you live in the congestion zone or you live outside our 5mile delivery zone.

HOW ARE BOUNCY CASTLES SECURED?

When hiring bouncy castles indoors bouncy castles are secured with sandbags at the anchor points. when booking outdoors on concrete all anchor points are secured with sandbags (please note that this does come with an additional set up charge). When bouncy castles are placed on grass all anchor points are secured with metal pegs.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

If you would like to cancel your hire this will need to be done 7 days prior to your booking otherwise you will lose your refundable deposit. If we need to cancel a your hire due to high winds of 24mph we will refund you the refundable deposit. (Please note it is illegal to rent bouncy castle in winds higher than 24mph). All refunds are refunded within 5 to 10days after your hire.
